General Contractor
Henry H. Lewis, Inc.
Henry H. Lewis, Inc.  is, objectively, one of finest General Contractors currently working in the mid-Atlantic area.  With a list of clients ranging from Monticello (yes, that Monticello), to the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab, to a literal Who's Who amongst Baltimore's religious, educational and medical institutions, HHL has built a reputation for financial stability and quality of workmanship that is second to none.
Architects
J.T. Fishman & Associates

Jamie Fishman and the his team of professionals at J.T. Fishman & Associates have won numerous awards for their distinctive approaches to commercial and residential design, including:

  • Best Mixed Use Award for 2006 from the Maryland Chapter of NAIOP for Boulevard Place
  • Best Mixed Use (Suburban) for 2004 (from NAIOP) for Brookside Commons
  • 2003 Maryland Vision Award -- presented by Governor Ehrlich -- for the redevelopment & revitalization of Drumcastle Center
  • 2002 Best Retail/Rehab Center (from NAIOP) for Garrison Forrest Plaza

The work Jamie, Walt Metius and the rest of the JTF Staff have done to bring a "Main Street" look and feel to our project have earned them significant praise from many current and former officials within Carroll County's Planning Commission Staff and Zoning Department.  In fact, one of those officials creditsJTF's design with raising the bar for all subsequent commercial development that will take place in the County for years to come.

Civil Engineers
Demario Design Consultants, Inc.

For anyone who has time to listen, ask us about how DeMario Design -- especially Jim Mathias and Andy Stine -- helped us pick up the pieces of several previous failed attempts to obtain an approved Site Plan.  What other engineers couldn't accomplish in 2-1/2 years, Jim, Andy and their partners helped us do in 14 months.

In fact, they did such a good job for us that  the developer of another very important project in Eldersburg hired DMC to re-invigorate their project when it seemed to be stuck in neutral.  We cannot say enough good things about Jim, Andy, Rich DeMario and our very good friends at DMC, and highly recommend them.

Audio-Visual Engineers
Design & Integration
D&I is much more than a bunch of "bangers" with a van.  Jack Rivera (D&I's Founder and President) heads a team of engineers -- i.e., people with degrees from excellent institutions.  Their work is clean and crisp and the technology they utilize is as impressive as the technology -- and the capabilities -- they create.   At the moment D&I's primary responsibility on our project is to design and integrate (maybe that's where they got the name for their company, eh?)  the bells, whistles, gadgets, monitors, hardware, software, etc. it will take to provide state-of-the-art electronics for the new restaurant and the banquet facility/conference center.  In fact, it's probably fair to say that their knowledge is what will allow us to offer the community a 10,000 square-foot banquet facility when feeding people is the primary need, and to use the same space to provide the area's first serious "no-beds" conference center when meeting space coupled with video-conferencing, video-recording, sound and data-recording, scribble recording (i.e., use of "smart boards" to convert meeting notes from images on a white board to computer files), internet-conferencing and similar capabilities can help turn a "gathering of bodies" into a highly-successful "gathering of minds".
